Jan Botha brings over twenty years of combined experience across safety, security, and compliance — built inside real operations, not consulting rooms. His career spans law enforcement with the City of Cape Town Metro Police, corporate FMCG management across major brands, and extensive hands-on compliance management at senior level.

Jan is a PSIRA-registered Security Service Provider and holds UCT qualifications in Practical Labour Law and Paralegal Practice, a Diploma in Strategic Logistics Management, and a Metro Police Diploma. He is also Chairperson of the Bothasig Community Police Forum.

His audit track record is exceptional: three consecutive five-star Marsh audit ratings and a 100% score with the Department of Labour across both OHS and Human Resources.

Peter Amos brings close to a decade of hands-on compliance experience across food safety, occupational health and safety, and HR administration — built from the ground up, through real operations, managing real teams, and being directly accountable for the results.

He holds a UCT Occupational Health and Safety certification (91%), is HACCP certified, and spent six years managing compliance across food safety, OHS, and HR in a major corporate fishing environment — working directly under Jan Botha before they co-founded Compass together.
